Four Rivers Round Table Meeting

Four Rivers Round Table Meeting

The Four Rivers Round Table meets on the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 7pm-8pm via Zoom or at First Baptist Church in Clinton's Fellowship Hall.  The Round Table is a great way to bring families, leaders and volunteers together to learn more about the program, ask questions and have a time of community to meet others in the AJC.  The monthly meeting often provides a program offered by a Unit or Council Volunteer to provide insight into part of the program.  The Round Table provides an excellent source of information as Council Staff, Council Volunteers, Unit Leaders and other Scouters are availiable to help answer questions that arise and are brought "to the table" for discussion.

A wonderful tool that every Scouting Family should purchase or download yearly as  BSA Policy continues to change with current events is the "BSA Guide to Advancement" which is the "Policy Guide" for ALL Units, Scouts and Councils to follow based on BSA National Guidelines.  I am attaching the Link to the Guide for easy access but it may also be purchased at the Scout Shop. https://www.scouting.org/resources/guide-to-advancement/
Another useful guide is the book "Scouts BSA Requirements" which provides information on requirements necessary for every MB, Rank Advancement and Award in one easy to use location.  This book is also updated yearly and can be purchased in the Scout Shop. I am attaching the 2019 pdf of the manual but please be aware the 2020 manual has been printed for distribution with changes.

I hope this information is helpful as you begin this new Scouting Season.  We hope to see you each at the Round Table this Tuesday as we discuss all the AJC has planned for the Scouting Year and to answer your Scouting Questions. If you do NOT already receive monthly emails about Four Rivers Round Table meetings, please send an email to Dr. Chuck Weiss (imrockdoc@yahoo.com) asking to be added to the distribution list to ensure you stay connected with the Four Rivers District.  Please feel free to forward this information to your Scouting friends or those who are interested in Scouting to ensure they have an opportunity to join in this session to learn more about the AJC's upcoming Scouting year.

If you have questions or concerns please let us know.  We look forward to another wonderful Scouting Year!  If you would like to attend the Four Rivers Round Table, please contact Dr. Chuck Weiss for the Zoom link and to be added to the District email list at: imrockdoc@yahoo.com.
