HSR received a lot of ice resulting in broken trees and limbs scattered throughout camp. We need Scouts and Scouters to help with debris removal and cleanup ahead of our upcoming Council Camporee and other upcoming programs. Please bring gloves, work clothes, and boots. The ground will probably be muddy, so be prepared for that.
Any Scouters who has successfully completed a chainsaw safety course at HSR is encouraged to come and bring your own saw, along with personal protection equipment. We have a very limited amount of chainsaw equipment on camp. Anyone who operates a chainsaw on HSR must have completed the chainsaw safety course.
We also need skilled labor, (electricians, carpenters, etc) are asked to come help with other repairs. Please bring whatever tools that you think you may need to work with.
We will begin at 10:00AM and lunch will be provided.
As always, your help and dedication to Hood Scout Reservation is greatly appreciated.
