DO YOU WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE THIS SUMMER? 

Are you tired of doing the same thing every summer? Did you know that the Hood Scout Reservation will have camp for six weeks this summer?  That Hood operates camps for Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Venturers.  

The Andrew Jackson Council hires over 70 enthusiastic staffers annually to support the 1,000 plus Scouts and unit leaders that will attend Hood Scout Reservation this summer.   Serving in roles from counselors in training to Davey Crockett instructors (1st year camper) to Lifeguards and more.  Our staff helps deliver on the promise of fun and adventure. 

If you want to be part of the camp staff at one the top camps in the country and Mississippi's premier Scout Camp then use the link below to complete a camp staff application online. 

Once you fill out the Camp Staff Application you will need to attend interviews for on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the Council Service Center in Jackson, MS.  Interviews will start at 8:30 AM until Noon.

If you worked last summer and would like to apply again, please complete the online application.  Please be at the Council Service Center on February 2nd. If you cannot attend on that day please let us know. Someone from the Camp Administration will contact you about working with this summer.
