Join us for one of our Cub Scout Family Camp Weekends at Hood Scout Reservation.  This is fun for whole family (Moms, Dads, and Siblings)   Events to include BB Shooting, archery, games, arts and crafts, campfires, opportunities for advancement, and most of all FUN!

Akela/Cub Scout Weekends

Cub Scout Polar Bear 

This weekend is a chance for you and your Cub Scout to come and build winter adventure at Hood Scout Reservation.

Cub Scout, Webelos, and Arrow of Light Resident Camp

Cub Scout/Webelos Scout resident camp is a council-organized, theme-oriented overnight program that runs for two nights and two and half days.   A parent or guardian should accompany each Cub Scout/Webelos/ Arrow of Light Scout.  Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts can camp as den which will require only two leaders.  Den Leaders must be registered with the BSA and Complete Youth Protection Training.  

Resident camp typically includes, but is not limited to, outdoor program areas such as nature, camping skills, fitness, aquatics, and sports.

Resident Camp is from May 31st to June 1st.  Cost is $150 per Scout/Parent.  


Cub Scout Day Camps


The Andrew Jackson Council host six different day camp programs across the Council.  Locations include Brandon, Brookhaven, Madison, Natchez, Raymond, and Vicksburg. These camps are can be weeklong or three days and some are twilight camps which runs in the evenings.  Registration is now open.


Hinds County June 10-14, 2019

Warren County: June 17-21, 2019

Rankin County : June 7-8, 2019

City of Richland-Dept. of Parks and Recreation

Cost:  Family 3 or more: $60 before May 31st, after it's $85.00.

        Cub Scout and Parent: $40 before May 31st, after it's $50. 

Activities offered BB, Archery, arts and crafts. There is an overnight campout on June 7th.  Dinner and Breakfast are provided.  There will also be a "Draw Down" for door prizes. Each Registration (Family 3 or more or Cub Scout/Parent) receives on ticket. Additional tickets are available.

Lincoln County: June 11-14, 2019
