WELCOME TO THE 2022 CUB SCOUT SUMMER CAMP

 

Join us at Hood Scout Reservation June 2rd - 4th, 2022 for three days of the Summer Camp Experience for Cub Scouts.  Our Program Includes programs for different ranks including opportunities at the waterfront, shooting sports, and the climbing tower. 

 

 

Program Includes the Following:

Waterfront: Bear Salmon Run, Webelos Aquanaut, Boating, and other activities 

Climbing Tower: Repelling

Game Night: Join the Summer Camp Staff for a fun evening of Trading Post Games.

Shooting Sports: Archery and BB

Scouts Own Service

Opening and Closing Campfire Programs

Schedule and Program Rotation

Check-In Begins Thursday, June 2rd at 2:00 PM at the Health Lodge. Participants will be guided to their campsite and given a tour by one of our HSR Camp Staff Members and Swim Checks will be completed, Followed by dinner and our Opening Show. Friday includes the bulk of our program including Shooting Sports, the Climbing Tower, and the Waterfront. The program continues Saturday Morning with free time after lunch until our Closing Show. A detailed Schedule and Program Rotation will be provided below.

 

Some More Details...

This Camp is limited to Bears, Webelos, and Arrow of Lights and their parents. Parents are required to attend with Bear Scouts. Parents are not required to attend if a Webelos and Arrow of Light Den, including two adults one of who is a trained den leader. All participants are provided one of our Canvas Wall Tends and Cots in one of our Campsites. Participants are welcome to bring their own is they wish. Meals will be provided (cafeteria style) including Thursday Dinner, Friday and Saturday Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Programs are run by the HSR Summer Camp Staff and overseen by the Cub Scout Outdoor Program Committee.
