Johnson Family Boating Area
The Johnson Family Boating Area is located on a 110 acre lake at Hood Scout Reservation. During the Summer the following boating programs are avaiable: Motorboating, Rowing, Canoeing, Kayaking, Paddleboating and Sailing.
For the following boating programs are avaiable for use during the off season: Canoeing, Kayaking, Paddleboarding. These are for use for onsite useage only. There is a $5.00 per person for the use boats. Unit leader must provide proof and be current in Safety Afloat and Safe Swim Defense and CPR/First Aid.
